| This three year old boy is just one of the Sacrifices
from Tjernobyl |
The first wawes of death are almost coming immediately for the persons who
have been exposed to a huge radiationsdose. The radiation destrays their
centralnervoussystem without which you cannot live. Those who have not been
exposed for huge radiationdoses die of damages in the stomach and the
intestinessystems. The symptoms are no appetite, nausea, vamiyng, diarrhoea,
stomachkramps and weight loss. When these symptoms are observed: Tiredness,
fever, headache, too high bloodpressure we call it radiation sickness.
 |
| Here you can see how long the radioactive sky spread
itself around the world |
If
people are exposed of a little radiation people will be very tired and eat
nothing. People will maybe get nausea and dirrahoea. If peple are exposed
for a bigger radiation people can risk bloodstained nausea or solid vomiting,
some not can stop. After a time you can get hair loss, bleeding in your jaw
and bleeding wonder in your skin. After 6-7 days you will begin to get a
little bit better. If you are exposed for a little bigger radiation you will
get a collapse in your digestionsystem with bloodstained nausea and bleeding
interior. After this you will probably die.
Acute damages
Acute damages are described as: to have reduced or absent function of loom
or organ as a result of a large dose of radiation where a great number of
cells have been destroyed e.g. because of radiationcombustion on the skin
or innate handicap. The handicap is prevented the radiationdose is not exceeded
the thresholddoser. The acute damages are shown within the first 60 days
after you have been exposed by radiation. How serious the damage is depends
on the person the radiationdose and the size of the person. Acute damages
arise only if have within a short time (hour/24 hours) received doses of
radiation which have exceeded the threshold doses.

Kongenial malformation
Irradiation of a fertilisation egg can umply that the egg will be destroyed
- the same counts foetus by very huge doses. Further more deformity, brain
damage or cancer can appear. The risk of cancer later in life is 10% and
the risk of deformity is 5%. The damages depend on when in the radiation
finds place. |

Animals ill from radiation
One big part of the English sheep and other animals that work and grass became
radioactivity from the accident in Tjernobyl. It rains on the grass and the
animals eat it. The animals that are irradiated painted are painted with
a porticulon colour. In Scandinavia many deer were exposed to radioactive
fallout. From 1986 to 1990 there were some places. |
| Also many animals got ill from the
radiation |
Facts
When the accident happend 31 persons were killed
immediate.
Cancer can arise 0-50 years after postponement for
radiation. |
|
|
Facts
More than three million people in Ukraine are still
ill after the Tjernobyl disaster. |
|
|
Facts
Scientists estimate that the accident in Tjernobyl
will up to year 2030 cost 8000 cancear cases in Europe. |
